We are always looking for new and exciting opportunities with new clients and in new sectors. All our services are transferable across sectors, we just need to use a new language and tailor them to the new environment. The core principles remain the same across any sector. We have, since mid-October, been preparing for the challenges in 2017. We had a huge marketing drive to attract new clients across the specific sectors we have chosen to promote our services. We know our services are equally important across the sectors:  Cultural Change, Collaborative Working, Business Development, Supply Chain Integration, Customer Service, Business Health Checks and Corporate Event Management.

It is also important to review your memberships and ask yourself are you gaining maximum value through these associations no matter what the cost? If not why not? This is a cost to your business and should be utilised to its maximum advantage for your business. A review of all your marketing activities should take place and you need to review your strategy for the future year. A three year marketing plan is not unheard of along with one year tactical plans to ensure you are on track for the three years outlined originally.

Everything we do has a cost, so we must make sure we maximise the benefits from memberships, entertainment plans, exhibiting, attendance at events, websites, promotional items, social media etc.

Have you spent the money wisely? Have you seen a return for your investment? What worked well? Where do we need to improve? Where can we add more value? What new ways of working are out there? Are new technologies available?

Marketing is a very important aspect of business; it must be reviewed at the end of each year before deciding how to proceed for another 12 months. Our activity has opened up new doors to potential clients and sectors – you need to walk through those doors to secure future work and maximise opportunities.

Marketing remains an important part of our business strategy for growth to compliment our referrals.
